Solar System VR: Interactive Educational Android App

  • Objective: To allow users to explore and learn about the solar system in an engaging and interactive VR environment.
  • Features:
    • Users can fly through space and navigate the solar system using VR glasses.
    • By pointing to a star or planet with the VR pointer, the app directs the user to the selected celestial body.
    • An information panel appears on the right side, displaying detailed information about the selected object on the left.
    • Users can navigate through the information using “Next” and “Previous” buttons located at the top left of the panel.
    • Once users finish reading about an object, they can point to it again to close the panel and return to their previous position.
  • Tools Used:
    • Unity: For developing the VR environment and app functionality.
    • Photoshop: For editing textures and images used in the app.
    • Blender: For creating and editing 3D models of the solar system objects.
